WHAT THE PROJECT IS NOT

The project did not cost other valuable considerations in decision-making such as social values, safety, amenity, quality of life or heritage values.

The project used predicted inundation data and mapping as INPUTS into an economic modelling exercise. The mapping should be seen in this light and should not be regarded as project OUTCOMES.

The project used projections about the future which may or may not turn out to be correct.

The project does not imply that local government is solely responsible for flood mitigation works. This responsibility is shared across spheres of government and agencies.
